CENZURA PLUS Hrvatski

CENZURA PLUS je neprofitna organizacija civilnog društva iz Splita, koja metodama neovisne televizijske produkcije, vaninstitucionalnog obrazovanja i javnog zagovaranja promiče ljudska prava, slobodu medija i radi na razvoju civilnog društva, a sve u cilju doprinosa izgradnji modernog, demokratskog i pravednog društva u Hrvatskoj.

Cenzuru Plus je 2003. godine osnovala grupa aktivista i aktivistkinja za ljudska prava, na temeljima i iskustvu dugogodišnje produkcije jedne od prvih neovisnih televizijskih emisija („Cenzura“), koja je istraživala ograničenja medijskih sloboda u poslijeratnoj Hrvatskoj, još od sredine devedesetih.

Od tada pa sve do današnjih dana, svojom neprofitnom produkcijom tjedne, jednosatne televizijske emisije, koja obrađuje teme vezane uz pitanja ljudskih prava, demokratizacije i statusa civilnog društva, Cenzura Plus je zadržala status prilično jedinstvene i prepoznatljive organizacije civilnog društva u Hrvatskoj. U prethodnih 5 godina razvila je i brojne druge aktivnosti i jedna je od vodećih organizacije u odabranim djelatnostima, u južnom dijelu zemlje. Ured Cenzure Plus se nalazi u Splitu, u drugom gradu po veličini u Hrvatskoj.

PRIORITETI:

1. Unaprjeđenje slobode i društvene odgovornosti medija, te statusa neprofitnih medija;

2. Unaprjeđenje statusa ljudskih i ženskih ljudskih prava, suzbijanja diskriminacije i među-kulturalnog dijaloga;

3. Povećanje sudjelovanja građanstva u procesima donošenja odluka i transparentnosti svih razina javne uprave, te podrška antikorupcijskim aktivnostima;

4. Unaprjeđenje statusa civilnog društva i civilnog dijaloga;

5. Razvoj socijalnog poduzetništva i novih modela ekonomskog osnaživanja žena, te razvojne inicijative u lokalnim zajednicama.

Programi/projekti:

1. Tjedna neprofitna televizijska produkcija jednosatne televizijske emisije, koja se emitira na regionalnim televizijama u Hrvatskoj svakog petka u 21 sat (uključuje i program EU informiranja) i tjedna neprofitna petnaestominutna radijska emisija, koja se emitira na regionalnom radiju svakog četvrtka u 18:45 sati.

2. Anti-diskriminacijska kampanja – suzbijanje diskriminacije na osnovi roda (posebice), ali i seksualne orijentacije, nacionalnosti i vjeroispovijesti, te drugih osnova sa visokom pojavnošću diskriminacije.

3. Edukacijski program povećanja sudjelovanja građanki i građana u donošenju odluka i razine transparentnosti lokalnih i regionalnih samouprava u Hrvatskoj u cilju suzbijanja korupcije.

4. Program ekonomskog osnaživanja žena kroz organiziranje proizvodnje rukotvorina u Ličkoj ženskoj socijalnoj zadruzi, na ratom pogođenim, ruralnim područjima Hrvatske, socijalni marketing i plasman proizvoda.

5. Program zagovaranja za unaprjeđenje statusa medija i posebice neprofitnih medija u Hrvatskoj.

Cenzura Plus je članica europske mreže za razvoj civilnog društva na Balkanu, Balkan Civil Society Development Network-a (BCSDN), članica europske feminističke mreže za rodnu ravnopravnost i socijalnu pravdu, Women in Development Europe (WIDE), članica europske mreže za unaprijeđenje statusa neprofitnih medija, Comunity Media Forum Europe (CMFE) i članica međunarodne organizacije locirane u Brusselsu, koja radi na unaprjeđenju građanskih prava u Europi, European Citizen Action Service (ECAS). Cenzura Plus je jedna od osnivačica i članica nacionalne mreže za unaprjeđenje statusa neprofitnih medija u Hrvatskoj, „N Mreža“, također osnivačica i članica Ličke ženske socijalne zadruge, kontaktna točka Pučkog pravobranitelja za Južnu Hrvatsku (od Like do Dubrovnika) te je aktivna u brojnim partnerstvima.

Cenzura Plus se financira putem natječaja iz fondova Europske Unije i drugih domaćih i međunarodnih donatorskih fondova koji podržavaju demokratizacijska nastojanja civilnog društva. Vodeći donator je Europska Unija, a od domaćih donatora značajna je Nacionalna zaklada za razvoj civilnog društva u Hrvatskoj.

CENZURA PLUS English

CENZURA PLUS is a non-profit, civil society organization from Split, Croatia, that promotes human rights, media freedoms and works on the development of civil society, through methods of independent media (TV) production, out-institutional education and public advocacy, with the aim of building modern, democratic and fair society in Croatia.

Cenzura Plus was established in 2003., by a group of human-rights activists and it arise from history and experience of producing the first independent TV show that explored limitation of media freedoms in post-war Croatia, since mid 1990es. Since then Cenzura Plus remains unique and recognized in Croatia and in the Region of Western Balkans for its non-profit TV production, of one 1-hour long TV show weekly, that deals with broader range of human rights issues, democratization and civil society status in Croatia. In previous 5 years it has developed numerous activities and today is one of the leading civil society organizations in its lines of work in the south part of the country. It is located in Split, second town by its size in Croatia, on the Adriatic coast.

PRIORITIES:

1. Improvement of Media Freedoms, Media Responsibility and status of Non-profit Media;

2. Improvement of Human Rights and Women Rights status, Combating Discrimination and Increasing the Inter-cultural Dialogue;

3. Encouraging active citizenship, increasing of Citizens Participation in decision making and Transparency of all levels of Governments, as well as supporting of the Anti-corruption activities;

4. Improvement of Civil Society status and Civil Dialogue;

5. Development of Social Entrepreneurship and new models of Economic Empowerment of Women.

Main programmes:

1. Weekly non-profit television production on themes relevant for civil society and democratization, 1-hour long TV shows broadcast on regional televisions in Croatia, each Friday at 21 hrs and weekly 15-minutes long radio shows broadcast on regional radio station in Dalmatia, each Thursday at 18:45 hrs (including serials such is European informing – EU INFO).

2. Antidiscrimination campaign – combating discrimination based on the gender (in particular), sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion and other grounds with high incidence of discrimination cases in Croatia.

3. Educational programme of increasing the citizens’ participation in decisions making and level of transparency of local and regional governments in Croatia with the aim of combating the corruption.

4. Programme of economic empowerment of women through organizing crafts production in social cooperative on war affected and rural areas of Croatia, social marketing and sales.

5. Advocacy programme for improvement of status of media and in particular non-profit media in Croatia.

Cenzura Plus is member of the network for empowerment of civil society in the Balkans - Balkan Civil Society Development Network (BCSDN), member of the European feminist network for gender equality and social justice, Women in Development Europe (WIDE) and member of Brussels based international organization for improvement of European citizenship rights - European Citizen Action Service (ECAS).

Cenzura Plus is one of the founders and member of the network for improving the status of non-profit media in Croatia, also one of the founders and member of Lika Womens` Social Cooperative, Ombudsman’s` Contact point for South Croatia and it is active in numerous partnerships.

Cenzura Plus is financed through calls for proposals from different domestic and international donors’ organization that support democratization efforts of civil society. Biggest Cenzura Plus’ donor is European Union and, among domestic funds, significant is National Foundation for Civil Society Development in Croatia.

CENZURA PLUS French

CENZURA PLUS est une organisation à but non lucratif de la société civile de Split, en Croatie. Sa mission est de promouvoir les droits de l’Homme, la liberté des médias et le développement de la société civile au travers d’une production d’émissions télévisuelles et radiophoniques indépendantes, d’une éducation non-formelle et d’une sensibilisation du public à ces sujets, dans le but de construire une société moderne, juste et démocratique en Croatie.

CENZURA PLUS a été créée par un groupe de militants des droits de l'Homme influencés par les événements historiques du milieu des années 90 et forts de leur expérience de production de la première émission télévisuelle indépendante qui a traité des limites de la liberté des médias dans la Croatie d'après-guerre. Aujourd’hui encore elle reste unique et reconnue en Croatie et dans la région des Balkans occidentaux pour sa production télévisuelle à but non lucratif et notamment pour son émission hebdomadaire d’1 heure qui traite largement des questions relatives aux droits de l'Homme, à la démocratisation et au statut de la société civile en Croatie. Outre son rôle actif dans les médias, elle a également développé de nombreuses autres activités. CENZURA PLUS est considérée comme une organisation de premier plan dans son domaine d’action, dans le sud du pays. Elle est basée à Split, deuxième ville par sa taille en Croatie, sur la côte adriatique.

PRIORITES:
1. Favoriser la liberté et la responsabilité des médias et leur statut non lucratif;
2. Améliorer le statut des droits de l'Homme et la Femme, encourager la lutte contre les discriminations et renforcer le dialogue interculturel;
3. Encourager la citoyenneté active, la participation des citoyens au processus décisionnel et la transparence à tous les niveaux de gouvernance, ainsi que le soutien des activités anti-corruption;
4. Améliorer le statut de la société civile et le dialogue civil;
5. Favoriser l'entreprenariat social et développer de nouveaux modèles favorisant l’indépendance économique des femmes.

Principaux projets:
1. Production d’émissions de télévision et de radio hebdomadaires, à but non lucratif sur des thèmes touchant la société civile et la démocratisation : émission d’1 heure diffusée sur des chaines de télévisions régionales et sur une chaine nationale, chaque vendredi à 21 heures (traitant entre autres de l’actualité de l’Union Européenne : EU INFO).
2. Campagne de lutte contre la discrimination, fondée sur le sexe (en particulier), l'orientation sexuelle, l’origine ethnique, la religion et autres motifs apparaissant dans des cas de discrimination en Croatie.
3. Programme éducatif visant à favoriser la participation des citoyens dans le processus décisionnel et à accroitre la transparence des gouvernements locaux et régionaux pour notamment lutter contre la corruption.
4. Programme en faveur de l’indépendance économique des femmes grâce à une production d’objets artisanaux au sein d’une organisation de coopérative sociale, basée dans une zone rurale touchée durant la guerre. Cette action passe par le marketing et la vente de ces produits artisanaux.
5. Programme de sensibilisation ayant pour but d’améliorer le statut des médias et en particulier les médias à but non lucratif (médias libres) en Croatie.

CENZURA PLUS est un des membres fondateurs du réseau pour le développement de la société civile dans les Balkans : Balkans Civil Society Development Network (BCSDN); elle est également membre du réseau féministe européen pour l'égalité des sexes et la justice sociale : Women in Development Europe (WIDE); membre de l’organisation des médias communautaires : Forum Europe (CMFE), qui luttent pour l’indépendance des médias à but non lucratif; membre de l'organisation internationale pour l'amélioration des droits de la citoyenneté européenne : European Citizen Action Service (ECAS), basée à Bruxelles; et membre fondateur et dirigeant du réseau luttant en faveur du statut non lucratif des médias : Elle est également active dans de nombreux partenariats.
CENZURA PLUS est financée grâce aux appels d’offres de différents donateurs de fonds nationaux et internationaux qui encouragent des actions de démocratisation et de soutien à la société civile, le plus important est l’Union Européenne. L’organisation est composée de 10 employés permanents, en moyenne, et disposent de plusieurs autres collaborateurs. Son bureau principal se situe à Split, elle a également une petite succursale à Zagreb (capitale de la Croatie) et est actuellement dans le processus de mise en place d’un bureau pour la coopérative sociale de Lika.
